Difficult Conversations in Cancer
Difficult Conversations in Cancer is a 2-Part course designed to provide you with skills to support patients and families through difficult conversations with a focus on building therapeutic relationships. In Part 1, you complete theoretical learning online. This includes 4 Units: Unit A. Health literacy and Communications Strategies, Unit B. The Art and Science of Plain Language, Unit C. Teams and Wellness and Unit D. Inclusive Language. In Part 2 of the course you participate in live simulations with standardized patient actors with feedback and debriefing from peers and trained facilitators.
