Older Adults with Cancer
Older Adults with Cancer is a 3-part course designed to give healthcare providers formal education in Geriatric Oncology. In Unit 1, you will learn about the burden of cancer in older adults and the importance of completing a Geriatric Assessment (GA). In Unit 2, you will gain skills on how to predict the life expectancy of patients and how to predict and reduce both mild and severe negative health effects of treatments. Finally, Unit 3 will go into more detail about the various domains covered in the GA.
